Lifting Balustrade System

This system is specially designed for use in shopping centers, retail stores, cafés, fast food areas, restaurants, patisseries, hotels, and other exclusive venues where maximizing usable space and providing flexible enclosure solutions are essential.

The balustrade operates vertically via a motorized lift mechanism. It features three glass vanes:

  • One fixed vane (stationary),
  • Two movable vanes that can rise or lower depending on user preference.

You can stop the moving vanes at any desired level, allowing the system to be partially or fully opened according to the weather, customer needs, or ventilation requirements.

Installation can be configured with the fixed vane at the top or bottom, depending on project needs. Thanks to our patented joining system, the structure ensures 100% waterproof sealing, delivering long-term durability and superior insulation performance.

Description

A Lifting Balustrade System typically refers to a mechanical or automated safety barrier (balustrade) that can raise or lower as needed. These systems are commonly used in modern architecture or engineering projects for:

  • Rooftop safety
  • Convertible terraces
  • Pool fencing
  • Retractable balconies
  • Event or crowd control spaces

Key Features

Adjustable Height:

  • Can raise for safety (e.g., acting as a guardrail)
  • Can lower for aesthetics or accessibility

Manual or Motorized Operation:

  • Manual (counterweight system or gas springs)
  • Automated (hydraulic, electric motor, or pneumatic systems)

Materials:

  • Glass panels (often tempered or laminated)
  • Aluminum or stainless steel framing
  • Sometimes frameless for a minimalist look

Safety Standards:

  • Must meet local building codes and safety regulations (e.g., EN 1991, IBC)

Common Use Cases

ApplicationPurpose
